Training & Development
The department is involved in a wide range of
education and training activities both within and outside the Trust. These
include formal training schemes for clinical
scientists and technologists,
a nationally-advertised laser
safety study course, and training in prevention
of pressure sores. Our
staff also provide physics training on the FRCR
(Fellow of Royal College of Radiologists) course, training in
biomechanics for the orthopaedics part of the FRCS (Fellow of Royal
College of Surgeons) course and undergraduate
medical physics teaching for the Physics Course For Radiologists (FRCR) Undergraduate Medical Physics Course Tissue Viability (Pressure Ulcer Prevention & Management)
